Traditionally, High Altitude Training involved travelling to venues around the world that are located 1800m or more above sea level to take advantage of changes in the environment to stimulate accelerated responses to exercise.

This traditional approach of training was and still is used by athletes who were endeavoring to improve performance through changes in the oxygen-carrying capacity of their blood to increase VO2max which is a well-recognised measure of aerobic endurance capacity.

At Baller Nation, we simulate this High Altitude Training Environment. We reduce the level of oxygen in the Ball-Room, from 21% to 14% simulating a 3.5km high altitude environment. This, in combination with our High Altitude Programming, creates an unmatched formula for success for our ballers.

Where do we start?

Our training sessions are powered by science & create unmatched benefits introducing a novel training stimulus for members seeking a variety of exercise-based outcomes.

Training sessions burn 15 – 20% more calories with an extended EPOC response to up to 24 hours irrespective of where you may have trained in the past (>300% more than in a normal, sea level training environment).

That is, if a regular sessions claims a 900cal workout, the identical workout at Baller Nation will be as much as 1200cal and if a workout claims to extend EPOC to 7hrs (upper end of research quantified benefits) Baller Nation will extend it to 24hrs!
